Arrival gate at LAX

It should have been tedious

waiting for hours and hours

glad it wasn't

saw so much love

so much human interaction

I was there for a LONG time so

I classified it by race, and gender

here are the results:

-Asian man do not like to show emotion toward Asian woman.

-Children will always make a situation lighter

-Middle eastern man enjoy kissing each other (we should all learn from them)

-Women get ecstatic when a lost loved one is recovered

-Mexican families looooooove to travel together

-There are lots of lonely white people

-Or maybe they just travel a lot (see above)

-Love knows no age or gender or race

-Old people are incredibly cute when they kiss

the big common denominator was love.

always present

in every embrace and smile

and even when there's just a guy holding a sign with a name, and then the name walks up, there's this moment when the name cannot help but to show how glad s/he is that someone is there for them, in that first smile prior to the hand shake ... LOVE

people waiting for people

people waiting for love

If you ever feel lonely

or sad

or preoccupied with the state of the world

go watch people wait for love

inevitably they will bring you some as well.
